We’ll have our next stress test for WoW Classic on June 19, 2019 4:00 PM EST. This stress test will be accessible to anyone with an active World of Warcraft game account in the Americas & Oceania region. For players who have not yet tested World of Warcraft Classic, the game will become available for download late tomorrow, June 18.

In other words, because of everyone and his cat trying to log on Classic servers, nobody will be able to actually play it.

They should call it "Logon Servers Stress Test".

I've reserved my name on Pyrewood Village (H) and Golemagg (H). My friends are split between wanting pvp and not wanting pvp, so the pvp people say they will play on two servers but we all know how that will go....

I see more streamers have announced their intentions. PvP server changed to Firemaw.

Looking at Classic server demographic (MMO-Champion Classic Realm Poll results) if you're into PvE (english) then Mirage Raceway seems a solid bet.

If you're into RP (PvE) Hydraxian Waterlords looks more dead (low population) and unbalanced (71% alliance vs. 29% horde) than Earthen Ring was ever.

For a PvP server Mograine looks good (not full yet and pretty even balance).

 

This data is collected from people that bothered to answer a poll. So it's by no means exact numbers.

 

Classic starts tonight (Monday 26. August) at midnight (CEST).
